We’re hiring an Admin Assistant in Manchester

We are an award-winning Cloud Accounting firm that like to do things differently! We are growing significantly and are looking for an administrator with either an accounting or legal background to join our Manchester city centre office to help support our team’s growth! The role will be varied and fast paced and as the business grows, there will be career progression opportunities in the legal department in one of our new offices! The business admin apprentice will be involved in supporting the administration needs of the firm’s 4 offices in Manchester, Liverpool, Brighton and London and will be working closely with all teams including the Practice Manager, Managing Director, Payroll team, Accounts teams and Marketing team. Role: 
  • Assisting the Practice Manager to maintain internal systems and client data
  • Assisting in production of key practice reports
  • Assisting the Payroll department with the admin in their growing department
  • Management of own ongoing projects to assist in data management
  • Responsible for proving adhoc support to help teams meet their growth targets (accounts/payroll/tax/corporate finance/marketing)
  • Holiday cover for admin team

  • General administrative duties including answering the phone, post, scanning and shredding

Schedule/Job Type:
  • Full-time, Permanent role
  • Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5pm
  • Flexible working from home arrangements
  • Salary: £19 - £22,000 p/a (based on experience) plus commission opportunities
Education/experience:
  • 5 GCSE’s A-C (including English and Maths)
  • Previous admin assistant experience (2 years)

  • Communication skills in person, on the phone or in emails
  • Ability to work on projects alone and as a part of a team
  • Good IT skills
  • Data entry skills and knowledge of databases and spreadsheets
  • An interest in the accounting/finance industry
  • Good decision-making skills
  • Interpersonal skills within the team and with clients
