Xero to Hero
20 Apr 2014What a week we’ve just had at Accounts and Legal! Not only did we sign 3 new clients including a Hollywood pro, we also launched an incredible competition, became an official partner of Xero, had our work published by Ingenious Britain, announced our client of the month AND kicked off our 2014 charity project! Phew!
We’ve got the year off to a cracking start by signing 3 new clients in one week and it just so happens one of them is quite the big deal in Hollywood! We can’t say too much of course but our new star signing has been involved in some of the biggest films of the past decade and is currently working on a new project. How exciting!
On that note we have also just launched our Client of the Month feature. Just like our latest addition from Tinseltown all of our clients have star quality so we have decided to share their great stories. Our 1st Client of the Month, Essential Care, have literally come from the ground up and you can read about them here.
Next on our agenda is the news that we have just become official partners of Xero; online accounting software tailored to modern business. Xero is great because it can be accessed from any computer unlike other accounting software which has to be accessed from the device it was installed onto. Not content with being extremely accessible and user-friendly, Xero have pushed the boundaries of modern accounting also boasting an app from which you can take pictures of receipts to go straight into your files and raise invoices all from the palm of your hand! It’s accounting innovation at its best and we are proud to be able to offer this service to our clients. Going forward we have set ourselves the goal of being one of the best Xero accountants! Lets see if we can do it.
In addition to that, last week also saw the launch of our fantastic competition to find the small business with the best blog, and with a cash prize of £1,000 and a year of free accounting it’s one to shout about. To find out more and submit your entries then click here.
Now to the penultimate chapter of our epic week, our charity work. We have decided that in 2014 we will use our resources and team spirit to work with a charity close to our hearts. The project began to take shape last week and we should have some exciting news for you in the next instalment of our blog! Watch this space.
And last but by no means least we have been published by Ingenious Britain. Regular readers of our blog will know that we are passionate about writing exciting articles about all aspects of running a small business so you can imagine how proud we were when 5 our written pieces were chosen to be featured on the Ingenious Britain website.
